Information Technology - Mandate

The Information Technology Department's mandate is to provide support in the use of information technology in order to meet the School Board's pedagogical and administrative needs. The Information Technology Department has the following responsibilities:

  • It provides technical support to all school and centre users. 
  • It manages the telecommunications network as well as the servers.
  • It sees to the proper functioning of all applications and systems.
  • It maintains computer hardware, composed mainly of computers, laptops, tablets (iPads), interactive white boards (SMART Boards), projectors, printers, photocopiers and telephones.
