Woodworking Profile
Are you a hands-on learner? Do you enjoy design, technology, and tools? Maybe you want to try creating a unique gift or piece of furniture?
If so, pursue your passion for woodworking in St. Pat's workshop!
Through a variety of hands-on projects, this profile will introduce you to basic woodworking skills and theory.
Students will:
- Be introduced to a variety of hand and power tools
- Learn how to safely use woodworking tools in the workroom
- Be given project-based opportunities to improve their skills and knowledge
- Be provided step-by-step instruction for all project procedures
- Develop & apply high level of respect for self, others, and all shop materials
- Be encouraged to take project initiation, design, and planning
- Apply creativity and problem solving
When: 4 times a cycle from 8:45 to 10:00
Where: At St. Patrick’s High School, woodworking workshop.
