Valcartier Elementary School

The official registration period for the 2023-2024 school year will be held from February 6 to 17, 2023. You can register your child on Mozaïk at any time during this period. 

• Parents of new students are welcome to pick up a registration package as of Monday, February 6th. If you would like to meet to ask questions or for a tour of the school, you will need to drop by between Tuesday and Friday.
   
• Territory: Make sure your address is on Valcartier Elementary School's territory. To verify, go to https://www.cqsb.qc.ca/en/find-school and enter your home address (postal code works best), then scroll down to see which school your address it is associated with. You must be on Valcartier territory to receive busing. If you wish to attend Valcartier but are not on the territory, you will need to register at the school that is associated to your address and ask for a cross-boundary request.
   
• Eligibility: Your child must be eligible to receive English instruction under Bill 101. https://www.cqsb.qc.ca/en/information-to-parents/eligibility.
   
• Age: For K4, your child must be 4 years old by September 30, 2023, for K5, he or she must be 5 years old. You will be required to provide a valid Birth Certificate (long form, original document). A photocopy will be taken at registration.
   
• Proof of residency: You will be required to provide proof of residency in Quebec if your child was born out of province. An original document which shows the parents' name and address must be submitted (Hydro, phone, cable, tax bill, driver's license, bank or credit card statement, etc.). A photocopy will be taken at registration.
