Registration & Eligibility Renewals (current students)

Registration Renewal

When you log into the Parent Portal during the official registration period in February you will automatically be prompted to confirm the registration renewal of your son or daughter. For instructions on how to create your account on the portal, click here.  If you are planning on changing schools, you should indicate this during the renewal processThis includes Grade 6 students who will need to select a Secondary (high) School. We hope our Grade 6’s will consider continuing at Dollard-des-Ormeaux Secondary School. You can find more information on what our school offers to Secondary students here.

Please note only the parent who lives at the address indicated as the student's primary address, or the parent living in the DDO boundary will be able to make the renewal.

If you think you will be moving due to a posting, but do not have the Official Posting Message yet, we strongly suggest that you renew the registration. It is easier to cancel a registration than to make a new one outside of the Official Registration period.

If you do not renew your registration before the official registration period's end date and still want your child to continue at Dollard-des-Ormeaux School, you will need to come into the school and make a whole new registration as if they never attended Dollard-des-Ormeaux School. Then it will be up to the Central Quebec School Board’s discretion to accept registrations made outside of the official registration period.

Temporary English Eligibility Renewals (for the 2024-2025 school year)

Forms to complete eligibility renewal for the 2024-2025 school year will be sent home in January 2024. If you would like to start preparing for your renewal request, please be sure to have a current printed MPRR and/or a valid military I.D.

The form will then need to be taken to a Major or Higher-ranking Officer on the base. They will sign with a Clerk making a solemn declaration to your employment with the Canadian Armed Forces and your current posting in the province of Quebec.  New since 2020, the Canadian Armed Forces is also able to designate, from their own staff, a Commissaire à l'assermentation, who holds a proper stamp for this designation, to sign the sworn declaration with the Clerk.

If you are released or releasing from the Canadian Armed Forces, please contact Ms. Stephanie Pouliot at 418-844-1457 ext. 8302.

Permanent Eligibility

Temporary eligibility under the military clause is not transferable to permanent eligibility. However, if your child has attended an English school in another province then we should discuss applying for a permanent eligibility.

If someone in the family (Mom, Dad, Sibling, Grandparent) attended English school in Canada please contact Ms. Stephanie Pouliot at 418-844-1457 ext. 8302 to discuss the possibility of making an application for permanent eligibility
