Admission and ENROLMENT for students for 2020-2021


FEBRUARY 3 to 21, 2020

All students who wish to enrol in a kindergarten, primary or secondary level class in September 2020 in a school on the territory of the Central Québec School Board must complete an admission and enrolment form.
In order to qualify for English Instruction in Quebec Public Schools, students must meet certain eligibility criteria under the Charter of the French Language as set out by the Quebec government.

Admission age

1st year of primary: 6 years of age as of September 30th, 2020;
Kindergarten: 5 years of age as of September 30th, 2020.
Derogation of admission age
Requests concerning a derogation to the age of admission may be taken into consideration. Only students permitted to English school will be accepted. Please communicate with the school located in your catchment area (territory) for further information.

Students already attending

Parents of students currently attending an English school on our territory (school year 2019-2020) and who have provided an e-mail address, will have access to on-line registration with Mozaïk inscription, parents of these students will need to respond to the registration e-mail they will receive. A resource person at your child’s school will be able to help you with this tool. For those who have not provided an e-mail address, you will receive an admission and enrolment form from the school and must return it to the school before or on February 21st, 2020.

New students

Parents of children who are enrolling in school for the first time in a school of the Central Québec School Board must present themselves at the school located on the territory of their residence ( with the following documents:
Original copy of the birth certificate (long format) of their child that shows the names of both parents;
Last issued report card (except for preschool);
Proof of residence on the school board’s territory (driver’s licence of the students parent or any other document from a government ministry or agency attesting the student’s address).
