Rides Homes
Elementary parents: you can send a message on Class Dojo to your child's teacher before 1:00 pm. You can also call the office before 1:00 pm if you want your child to have a ride home. Please make changes no later than 1:00 pm.
Dismissal of Students
If your child has a ride home, he/she will be waiting inside, sitting on the bench near the office. Please remember that students are dismissed from class at 3:27. You must come in the school at this time to pick up your child. Elementary students will not be allowed to wait outside or leave the building without an adult.
Only high school students will be allowed to wait outside for their ride home.
Please share this procedure with all adults (grandparents, aunts, uncles...) who will pick up your child. Our priority: the safety of your children!
Appointments
All parents at ASJ and SPES must enter the building when picking up their child for an appointment during the day. Your child will be called to the office by the secretary.
Violence on School Grounds
Our team will be enforcing zero-tolerance with regards to violence at school. Our priority is to ensure that students feel safe at school. We encourage you to have a discussion with your child in order to help us promote a supportive school climate.
As per our school policy, if a student is involved in a violent incident, parents will be contacted and may be asked to pick up their child at school.
