Bishop's University is at ASJ!

As part of their observation practicum 1, approximately 70 first-year students enrolled in Secondary School Education at Bishop’s University will spend a half-day at A.S. Johnson Memorial School.

Bishop’s students are getting to observe first-hand the various aspects of secondary education during a typical busy school day. They will also get to witness how ASJ is tightly knit and engaged with the Thetford Mines English Community. As such, they will be meeting representatives of the Megantic English-speaking Community Development Corporation (MCDC) as well as the school’s Community Learning Centres (CLC) Coordinator.

ASJ’s proud school team is very happy to greet them in their freshly renovated school which features a completely redesigned school yard.

A great opportunity for both Bishop’s future teachers and the CQSB!
