Dollard-des-Ormeaux School located in Courcelette, Québec, in partnership with the Académie Prodigi, have started a project titled “DDO Loops Into Coding”, which will be in place until the end of the school year.
The Quebec High School Improv Team participated in the Canadian Improv Games Provincial Championships in Montreal on March 23rd and March 24th. It was this team's first experience in a formal competition at the provincial level.

Tartan Day is a celebration of Scottish heritage on April 6th, the date on which the Declaration of Arbroath was signed in 1320. It originated in Canada in the mid-1980s. It spread to other communities of the Scottish diaspora in the 1990s.
Students and teachers at Riverside Regional High School rode for a good cause on Thursday, February 22, 2018. As part of the Inside Ride organized by Coast to Coast Against Cancer, they raised $7,876, that is $1,800 more than their goal!
Central Québec School Board Improves Energy Efficiency in 19 Facilities
Québec, February 5th, 2018 – The members of the Council of Commissioners of the Central Québec School Board (CQSB) recently announced the completion of its 18-month-long energy efficiency project. The wide-reaching initiative included nineteen (19) facilities situated in various areas of the province, ranging from the Mauricie administrative region to Northern Québec, including the National Capital and Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. “The Council of Commissioners has invested more than $6 million in this extensive energy saving project and have benefited from $1.2 million in grants from the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sports (MELS), Hydro Québec and Énergir, formerly known as Gaz Métro,” mentions Mr. Stephen Burke, Chairman of the CQSB’s Council of Commissioners.
