Inauguration of New Liverpool Elementary School

September 26 was a great day for our school board! We inaugurated our New Liverpool Elementary School! For the occasion, we were honoured to welcome M. Bernard Drainville, ministre de l’Éducation et ministre responsable de la région de la Chaudière-Appalaches, M. Éric Girard, ministre des Finances et ministre responsable des Relations avec les Québécois d’expression anglaise, and Ms. Brigitte Duchesneau, conseillère municipale de la Ville de Lévis.

It was with great pride that the students, staff, administration and members of the Council of Commissioners officially inaugurated the school, located on chemin du Sault in Lévis, in the company of the many partners who actively participated in the project, as well as the numerous guests present for the occasion.

Our new 21st-century elementary school, whose “heart” allows all activities to converge, includes 16 classrooms, collaborative spaces, arts and music facilities, a library, two outdoor classrooms and an administrative area. A magnificent glulam double gymnasium, built within the existing pyramid-shaped building on the site and whose original character has been preserved, completes the picture.
