Monster meatballs
So scary to chew.
First you bite THEM,
Then they bite YOU.

A teddy bear
An antelope,
A ninety-four-inch telescope.
A clarinet
A kettle drum
Ten thousand sticks of bubble gum.
A tennis court
A two-by-four,
A bony-plated dinosaur.
An iron bridge
A bust in granite,
A recently discovered planet.
A symphony
A subway car,
A sixty-five pound candy bar.
A matzo ball
A bodyguard-
AND DON'T FORGET TO SEND THE CARD!

I thought I'd win the spelling bee
And get right to the top,
But I started to spell, "banana,"
And I didn't know when to stop.

I took a sip of lemon pop
And then a sip of lime,
A little orange soda too
A swallow at a time.
Some grape came next and cherry red,
And then I almost cried,
How could my stomach feel so bad
With rainbows down inside.

When I grow up, I plan to keep
Eleven cats, and let them sleep

When I was three, I had a friend

He clasps the crag with crooked hands;

He watches from his mountain walls,

When I woke up, my heart was high.

The sun will get
smaller and smaller
and the grass won't green
or the trees leaf

Far across the ocean,
A faithful jelly doughnut

Its sugar shines with longing,

There once was a bear in a zoo

My teacher is called Mr. G.,
I think he likes bothering me;
He’s doing it great
And that I just hate,
I wish he would just let me be.

I know it must

To be burned by

And kept in the box so
You can't breathe well.
And having to be spun
All the time and stopped
And spun and stopped and spun
And so on and so on.
But, I ask you;
What would I listen to
If I didn't have you.
