    MEAL MYSTERY
    Tom's mom took Tom, Patrick V. and Alex
    out to eat after the movie. The menu read:
    Hot dog $1.50
    Cheeseburger $1.95
    Soda $0.99
    Lemonade $0.75

    Each kid had either a hot dog or a burger, and a drink.
    Alex's meal cost the most. Tom's cost the least.
    Tom's mom didn't have anything to eat. The bill came to $7.68.
