DEAR JEAN LITTLE

Dear Jean Little,
I read your book about Different Dragons and it is really cool! I like the part where Ben finds out that Gully is really a good dog after all. I also read your poem called SMART REMARK and it is really cool also.

Dear Jean Little,
I really like your stories, novels, and poems. They are so fantastic. When I read your books, they just amaze me so much. How do you do to be such a great author? I guess you were born to be great at that. And I always thought you were great at writing poems. You're one of my favourite authors.

Dear Jean Little,
My teacher read DIFFERENT DRAGONS to our class. And I like the way you put feelings in your character's minds. Like how Ben felt well after going up the ladder. And I knew he did because you write stories that are not too easy but not too hard to understand. I read I KNOW AN OLD LADDIE and I thought it was really disgusting to eat the things the old laddie ate. I think the things the most disgusting are the flea and the worm because I hate bugs. I think your books are just great. They are very, very good. All the books you write have something in common and I think they are all interesting. But my favourite book is REVENGE OF THE SMALL SMALL because she is a bit like me and I find books like that the most interesting of all. I hope you liked my letter. Bye!
