'EXCERPT'
POPPLETON IN WINTER

BY ANDREA VALERIA

"Surprise!" there stood all of Poppleton's friends with cookies and cake and fudge and presents. "Happy Birthday, Poppleton!"

This is the most important part because he wasn't alone anymore. And he had forgotten his own birthday but his friends didn't. It is the most important part, it is when we have friends.

'EXCERPT'
TITANIC

BY CYNTHIA BEAULIEU

I found a sentence in the book, Titanic, it is:

"No one ever dreamed that her first voyage would also be her last."

That sentence is sad because the Titanic was big and a lot of people died. It was the most beautiful boat in the world. It was like a palace. That sentence is very sad.

'FAVOURITE PART'
OWL AT HOME

BY SEBASTIEN GARNEAU
I love the part when Owl went to see the moon. Owl said to the moon that he was going back home but on the way Owl looked and said, "Thank you for lighting my way." But he told Moon to stay above the sea. When Owl was home he got into bed and the moon was at his window and lit up his room. The new friend of Owl was there before he went to bed. Owl went to bed and the moon went to bed too.
