My name is Rachael and my school is Vern Patrick Elementary. We are very happy to have Mr.Gangnier's class as a web buddy. We live in Central Oregon. Our school is in Redmond and there are about 13,705 people living here. It is very peaceful here. There are a lot of Junipers (Juniper is a kind of a tree in Oregon).

We have nine computers in our classroom for the 29 students in our class to use. Our class does Times Tables the Fun Way. It is an easy way to learn multiplication. My class runs a snack shop during lunch and recess so we can raise money for a field trip. It is called "The Team Jason Stop 'n Shop". For Science, we are studying fish, which are Kokanee fish. Kokanee means it is a salmon that is in a stream or river that does not lead to the ocean.

We come to school at 8:00 a.m. and school begins at 8:15 and it ends at 3:00. At lunch, my teacher, Mrs. Renz, plays a song called 50 Nifty United States. It tells our 50 states in alphabetical order. We each have a web page that you can look at.
