During the years at St. Vincent School, there have been visits of hundreds of special people, authors, magicians, musician, etc… Well, this time a special Canadian author came to our school. Her name is "Jean Little."
The special thing about her is that she is legally blind which means that she can see very faint things when she holds them very close to her eyes. She has a very good sense of humour because each time we asked her a question, she would turn the answer into a kind of a joke. She didn't really talk about her dog, Pippa, but she was very funny and nice and kind to us. She told us a lot about her life story. She said that she was raised in a big house with a big family. She told us she had lots of animals and that she loved her dog, Pippa. Her niece, called on us to ask Miss Little some questions.
Jean said that even though she was blind, she could hear very well, so we had to make no noise. As she entered the cafeteria, we all started to clap to welcome her warmly. She said that the grade five and six students were the best and greatest grades to share her life with because that was when she started writing. But I am 100% sure that Jean Little loved talking with grades Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, and Grade 4. I am also sure that she enjoyed coming to our school. We were very pleased with her coming to our school. We all enjoyed her visit. I think she is a great author. Don't you like her?
