OUR CHESS CLUB
At school we have a chess club and it's the first year. It's Mr. G. that teaches us chess. We are a lot of students but no grade twos but there's grade three, four, five, and six. There are more grade threes than grade sixes and fives. At home I have a chess box in red and it's in wood. The board that we play with is in crystal and the board is on the box. What we learned so far is the pawns, the king, the queen, the bishop, the knight and the rook. We learned stalemate which means tie, check means you can move your king somewhere else, checkmate is you lost because could not move your king somewhere and pining is I think you capture somebody and after the king is in check or checkmate. My board and chess pieces are in crystal and if we drop one it will break. The difference before the one that I have at home and at school is at home they are in crystal and at school in plastic. The pieces at school are bigger and mine are smaller. The board at school is bigger and there are numbers on the side. The numbers are 1 to 8 there is a to h on the bottom of the board and the board is in plastic and is green and white. My board does not have 1 to 8 and nor a to h and it is smaller. |
