     Bannock Recipe

 

Ingredients

        • 750ml flour
        • 15ml baking powder
        • 7ml salt
        • 375ml water
        • 200ml raisins



  • Mix the dry ingredients:
    the flour
    the baking powder
    the salt
    the raisins


  • Add water stirring constantly


  • Knead the dough with your hands, sprinkling it lightly with flour


  • When the dough is ready, mould it in the form of a flat cake around 4cm thick. Place it on a plate and brush it lightly with butter.


  • Ask an adult for help to cook your bannock in the oven at 225 degrees C for 20 minutes.


  • Cut the bannock to serve it, you can eat it hot or cold.
