SHS Community Covenant

  We, the Shawinigan High School Community,are committed to the attainment of one's personal best within an English environment.

  We believe the student will attain a personal best, through patience, perseverance, and participation.

  We also believe that the staff and parents can aid the students in the attainment of their personal best through cooperation, collaboration, and caring

Therefore, we the Shawinigan community will:

1. Provide a safe and secure learning atmosphere;

2. Offer students an education that is centered on mastering both official languages with a primary orientation towards English;

3. Offer the students a variety of academic, social, athletic and arts activities;

4. Recognize the students for their accomplishments as well as hold students responsible fot their actions;

5. Encourage the students to be actively involved in the learning paths offered within a structured environment, thereby promoting creativity and self-learning;

6. Continue to promote social responsability through Green School initiatives.
